Pianist Han, Hee-Chul
Pianist Hee-Chul Han got much praise for his debut performance. Newspaper Dong-A(July 1st, 1991) described his play by the title 'Amazing Play Performance, Pianist Who Should Wear the Play Costume as Lifelong Working Suit.'
He played vast repertoires ranging from the late Baroque to the post Romanticism, covering overall history of classical piano music. Some of his plays like entire piece of Chopin's Etudes, Beethoven's Hammerklavier Sonata and his interviews were broadcast through KBS FM. Besides his sole performance, he is also attending dozens of various chamber music plays, playing concertos with orchestra. By these efforts, he is endeavoring to spread the order and harmony of piano music.
He graduated from the musical department of Seoul National University, got the master's degree at the graduate course of BU(Boston University) school of music and completed the supreme performer program(Solistenexamen)in the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart(HMDK Stuttgart) in Germany.
He worked as the adjunct professor in the Keimyoung University, and in the Sungkyul University. He has been teaching the piano play and theory, keyboard harmony, chamber music in various universities. Now, he is lecturing the class piano, sight-singing and ear training in Inha University.
